The elongated trunk on its body is hollow; air passing through the mouth-like openings creates sounds, and depending on the strength of the wind, ranges from a melodious whistling to horrendous screaming. It can sway the trunk at varying speeds on its own to cause airflow if there is no wind, and this effect is invoked anyway when it attempts to slam the trunk at high speeds into potenital prey to crush it.
The Chimney Sphinx does not communicate; the human head and face it possesses shows emotion, but does not speak. Hostile.
